General Rules of netball

Hey Guys, 

I'll give you a run down on some basic netball rules...

Netball is played on a netball court and 14 players in total can take the court at one time, 7 from each team.

There are seven different positions that can be played during a game of netball:

1.  GA - Goal Attack
2. GS - Goal Shooter
3. WA - Wing Attack
4. GD - Goal Defence 
5. GK - Goal Keeper
6. WD - Wing Defence
7. C - Center

Positions are identified by wearing 'bibs', which highlight to the umpire where each potions is allowed to go.

The general Aim of the game is to shoot the ball into the hoop, each of which give you one point. The team with the most points wins the game.

10 Reasons to play netball

Hey Guys,

I could write a million reason why netball is such a great sport, though I shall attempt to narrow it down to 10.

1. Team Sport  - Enables people to build great friendships with fellow team mate
2. Health -  Great for the Cardio-Vascular system 
3. Hand eye coordination  -  Constantly passing the ball develops these skills
4. Good Sportsmanship - Enables individuals to develop appropriate conduct 
5. Improved Flexibility  - Those long defending stretches are great for improving flexibility 
6. Improved Strength  - Defenders need to hold those arms up high
7. Fitness - The constant running will do wonders for your fitness
8. Vitamin D - Soak up some sun in the outdoors
9. Outdoor / Indoor options - netball can be played both indoors and outdoors
10. Can be played and enjoyed by ALL ages and BOTH gender
